As the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Direct Access Partners, Brian is responsible for overall compliance and supervision of trading activities.
Brian’s Wall Street career started in the early 1980’s, at Lasker, Stone and Stern working under the direction of Donald Stone, former Vice-Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange and Bunny Lasker , former Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange. In this capacity, Brian became extremely knowledgeable of all rules and regulations of the various enforcement agencies, while actively learning complex trading strategies.
Brian owned a successful independent broker dealer for over ten years before the launch of Direct Access Partners, in 2002. He is one of the founding partners of Direct Access Partners and has overseen the growth of the firm. Brian has been instrumental in the expansion of Direct Access Partners’ presence on the floor of the NYSE and has guided the Direct Access platform to become one of the cornerstones of the firm’s institutional offerings.
