Direct Access Partners LLC Acquires Capital Raising Team
-- New addition complements its unique multi-prime brokerage offering --
NEW YORK, N.Y. March 18, 2010 – Direct Access Partners LLC, the institutional agency-only brokerage firm providing multi-asset trade execution and support services, announced today that it has acquired the capital raising team of Channel Capital Group to complement its multi-prime brokerage offering.
Channel Capital Group and its data licensing agreements were acquired from the parent company Channel Capital Group Inc. Since 2001, the team has assisted in the capital raising efforts of hedge fund strategies across the alternative investment spectrum by marketing top pedigree hedge fund managers to institutional investors around the world. Over the last several years this team has raised over $1.4 billion.
In keeping with Direct Access Partners’ consultative approach, Channel Capital provides multiple avenues for direct interaction such as:
- Global conference calls with hedge fund managers
- In-house investor meetings
- Manager road shows both domestically and abroad.

Each member of the sales team brings over 15 years of financial experience providing institutional-level service to both clients and hedge fund managers. The team is headed by George Lucaci, Senior Managing Director, and includes Eric Blessing, Managing Director, Tom Boyle, Managing Director and Edward Kuhnel, Vice President.
