NEW YORK, N.Y., January 31, 2012 – Direct Access Partners, LLC, (Direct Access) the institutional-focused, multi-asset agency-only trading partner to a diverse range of clients including pension funds, mutual funds, hedge funds and RIAs, today announced that Mr. Donald Motschwiller will join the firm as Managing Partner. Mr. Motschwiller will also serve as the CEO of the asset management affiliate of Direct Access Group, LLC, the parent company of Direct Access Partners, LLC

For over 20 years, Donald Motschwiller has successfully executed growth and diversification strategies with an emphasis on trading investment securities across a broad range of asset classes. Most recently, he was President of Dahlman Rose & Co., a research-centric investment bank with a focus on natural resources and its supply chain. Prior, Motschwiller was President and Managing Partner of First New York Securities, a preeminent proprietary trading firm, and CEO and President of EFX Capital, a unique asset management business deploying capital via managed accounts. Mr. Motschwiller is a graduate of Cornell University.
